Making the Most of Inbound Marketing

Marketing, as an entity, has been around for a very long time. However, the approaches to marketing have not changed but they have been enhanced by the addition of inbound marketing. Inbound marketing, unlike traditional marketing, allows your clients and prospective clients to come to you as opposed to you having to go after your clients and prospective clients in traditional marketing.

People are clever
In the past, as a marketer, you would have spent a great deal of money on marketing your brand. The payback for that was that your target audience actually paid attention to your marketing materials. However, eventually, people became more sophisticated and found ways to block your marketing efforts. If you bought ads in newspapers, magazines, etc., the other person could simply not read it. If you bought ads on TV, they could change the channel. If you advertised over the phone, the other person could just hang up.

Inbound marketing is a great new approach to marketing
Eventually, inbound marketing was born. Not only is inbound marketing a different approach but it also allows you greater possibilities of succeeding because not only does your client or prospect come to you but that person has chosen to do so willingly. That means that the person is prequalified and he or she would be more than willing to connect with you. The challenges that you always faced in the past when it came to marketing results are less challenging because of inbound marketing. They get to decide if and when they go with you.

How does inbound marketing work?
As was stated previously, inbound marketing only works if the other person opts into what you want them to do. At the very least, that will be basic contact information. In some cases, it will be more than that. However, it is not as simple as the person becoming aware of your existence online and then immediately deciding to connect with you and to cultivate a relationship.

With inbound marketing, it takes time to build the relationship and to trust each other and for your to become credible in the other person’s eyes. It is important that you understand that even though it may feel like a slow process to you, it is actually an extremely effective process and will worth exploring. Inbound marketing works effectively for many different businesses.

The way that it works is that you consistently post top-quality, educational, valuable content and the other person gets to know you and your business through your content. At some point in the near future, that person will want to deepen the connection that he or she has with you and you will begin to interact with each other. With any luck, you start to do that regularly. Before you know it, you have built a solid, meaningful, mutually beneficial relationship that will exist for a very long time.

At this point, you may be wondering how to get started using a strategy that includes inbound marketing.

  • Establish your content marketing strategy: Content is king! That cannot be emphasized enough. Before you do any writing at all, you need to establish your content strategy. It is that strategy (or roadmap) that will keep your content flowing and will hopefully help you to avoid any roadblocks in the way of your writing productivity. Your strategy should contain detailed information about your target audience members, including their wants and needs. Those details will guide you to customize your writing appropriately. Your first objective is to solve the other person’s problem(s). You need to write content that resonates with the other person and that helps you to establish an emotional connection.
  • Build your communities: Assuming that you have created a strong repository of top-quality content, the next thing that you will need to ensure is that your online social communities are in order. The reason for that is so that you have places to share your content. Of course, that means that wherever you post your content, it will elicit positive results. It is recommended that you choose quality over quantity when it comes to your online social connections. However, you should still have a significant number of connections. You should present your content in ways that appeal to your target audience, including words on relevant, compelling topics, graphics, videos, etc.
  • Leverage forms: Once you have gotten the attention of prospects, you will want to deepen the connection. A great vehicle for that is to use a form. You will want to encourage your online connections to complete a form with contact information and other pieces of valuable information that you need. The way that you can accomplish that is by providing a link to your landing page that contains a form (or a link to a form). The landing page will provide additional content that your prospects will find useful.
  • Grow your relationships: Relationships need tender loving care. That is true of personal as well as professional relationships. If you want to make the relationship solid and enduring, you will need to put forth some effort to make that happen. It is not necessarily correct to assume that the minute you connect with the other person, you will become besties! It takes time and effort to develop true relationships. In many cases, the more effort you put into the relationship, the stronger that relationship will become. Always remember that your first objective is to solve the other person’s problem(s). If you can satisfy his or her needs, yours will be met as well.

Conclusion
Inbound marketing is an extremely effective approach in business. Inbound marketing provides you with the opportunity to establish solid, meaningful, enduring relationships. Those relationships will benefit everyone involved. Your online connections exist for you because they want to, not because they have to. Your business will potentially grow at an increased rate and the relationships that you establish will last.

Are You a Person Who Can Work From Home?

Okay. You’re all excited. You’ve been wanting to do this for-e-ver. No more commute; no more boss over your shoulder; No more rigid hours. You’re going to finally work from home. But do you really have what it takes to work from home? Are you a work from home type of person? I am, and hopefully you are too. But, look over all the facts and pros and cons before you make the big leap.

Are You an Extrovert?

Do you need to be around people? Do you like to be in the mix of things, always keeping up with what’s going on? If so, working from home may not be for you. On the other hand, if you are more of an introvert, then working from home may be ideal. Or, you may be one that can balance their need of people along with your alone time at home. But, it’s good to take an honest look at yourself before moving forward.

Do You Have Self-Discipline?

Are you one that needs someone to give you a “to do” list in order to get things done? Do you need to be given deadlines or told what is needed? If so, you may have a problem working from home. You’ll need to be able to have the discipline to prioritize work, give yourself deadlines, make yourself a structured schedule in order to produce the work you need to make a paycheck. Lacking in this area can be devastating. So, if you’re serious, you may want to get a book on self-discipline or time management.

Are You Easily Distracted?

When working from home, a lot of distractions can raise their ugly head. Kids or your spouse may think that since you’re home, you can still help or wait on them whenever wanted. As friends learn you’re home, the phone may be ringing quite a bit more or they may be stopping by to chat. Facebook alerts may have you checking out what just happened. You may be one of those type folks that can write blogs, take care of three children and wash a couple of loads of clothes all at the same time without flinching. More power to you! But, if you’re like me, you’ll need to mute your cell phone, turn off social media alerts, and explain to the family while you’re in your “office”, (designate an area) you are at your job and wait until lunch break or until you are done for the day.

Be Realistic

Working from home can be rewarding and a dream come true. It also can be empty and a nightmare. It totally depends on what kind of person you are and how you handle things. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world but I have friends that relish being around the gang all day at work and would be lost at home by themselves. So you have to take a realistic look at who you are and what you can do.

Pajama Party Forever

I know you have visions of sitting at the laptop in your pajamas, coffee in hand, working to your heart’s content. And there are times I actually do that, but, you need to have the discipline to make yourself work. Working from home is way harder than working at the office. You reap the full benefits of what you do. No one else. And if you are the bread- winner of the family, then there’s more pressure. So, before you make the move home from the office, either for yourself or for your company, be sure you have what it takes to work from home. And if you do, have a cup of coffee for me!

Four Ways to Motivate Your Team

In any industry, people can get burnt out, bored, or feel unappreciated. It’s the job of a good leader to make sure each and every team member stays engaged and motivated. Here’s a list of the four most important ways to do that:

Recognition

When your team member goes above and beyond in some way, make it a point to commend her for her contribution. This can be done in several ways, and depending on the size of your team and their personalities, you can make adjustments.

Sometimes showing recognition might mean a one-on-one thank you or taking someone out to lunch. Another team member might find being thanked in front of the rest of the team to be especially gratifying. Someone else may appreciate a recommendation on her LinkedIn page or even a small gift such as a bottle of wine. Match your expression to the personality of the team member.

Compassionate correction

Everyone makes mistakes, even the smartest, hardest-working and proficient of your team members. When that happens, address the problem with compassion. If they are aware of their mistake, it’s very likely they are already embarrassed and regret the error.

It never helps to yell or to make someone feel badly. Don’t pretend it didn’t happen, but let them know you are aware of the problem and that you want it to be fixed. Also, work with that person to craft a plan to ensure the error doesn’t happen again.

Job security

Even contractors want to know that they will still be employed next month. If you don’t have a contract set up, make sure you get one signed by both sides so no one is left to wonder where they stand. If the contract is coming to a close, address it with the team member well in advance so if you want them to continue working with you, they will be available. If you don’t need their services, it’s kind to let them know, so they can start searching for a new gig elsewhere.

Competitive pay

This is a big one. In the gig economy, you get what you pay for. If you don’t want to pay much for a skilled labor (such as web development or copywriting), then you won’t be able to hire the quality talent you want. Do some research on current wages for the types of team members you want to hire, and pay accordingly. Oh, and pay on time!

But what happens when you’re deep in your business and you really don’t have time to devote to motivating your team in these ways? An online business manager keeps the team motivated in their work.

Due to several reasons, automotive industry is looking for fuel-efficient solutions for ground solution. With increasing volatility in oil prices, growing global warming problems and increased levels of pollutions are some reasons, which are forcing the automotive market to find alternative solutions. Use of carbon fibers is regarded as one such product that can alleviate these kinds of problems to some extent.

Carbon fiber is a lightweight product specially used in heavy vehicles including tractors, trailers and others. Though there is no need of weight reduction in lightweight passenger cars, it is useful. Use of it’s composites is mainly considered in high-end cars automobiles.

It is used for making automotive bodies, gears, bearings and fan blades. It is lightweight and corrosion free substance that makes it feasible for use in automobiles. What is carbon fiber and what makes it special for use in automotive industry. It is graphite fiber and is made up of ultra thin fibers. These fibers are primarily comprised of carbon atoms. The diameter of these fibers is approximately 00.5-0.010. These are fibers are very strong as they are made of carbon and are spun together with the help of crystal alignment. With this kind of size and strength, it has produced a dynamic strength-to-weight ratio. In addition, the density of this material is quite less than other materials used for car making such as steel.

Apart from its lightweight feature and great strength, some more features make this substance quite useful in automotive market. It features low thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and high tensile strength that make it beneficial for motor sports. It is used for making automobile hoods, built-in electronic equipment in cars, novel tooling and EMI and RF shielding.

Carbon fibers are extensively used in automotive styling and racing. These days, many parts of a car are made from graphite fibers including bonnet, hood, boot, lip and fender. People who have driven these kinds of cars at least once are very impressed with the style and performance of these vehicles.

Many leading automobile manufacturers like BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz and other high-end manufacturers are increasingly using it’s composites to reduce the weight. In addition, all these manufacturers are investing time, efforts and money over finding more use of it in their products.

A leading global carbon fiber manufacturer observed that automotive market is the largest consumer of it. These composites are preferred choice of material for concept cars as they offer design freedom and reduced tooling costs.

Lucintel, a leading global market research firm, has repeatedly mentioned in its forecasts about the growth of carbon fiber market. According to its forecast, the carbon fiber market is increasing from 9.8% per year to 13% per year for next five years.

Automotive Marketing on the Web

We are in the generation where the Internet plays a big role in our daily lives. Its contribution is a big help in terms of reaching out to the world from our own homes or wherever else. Aside from personal use, it also influences the businessmen in the world to publish their business online. In particular, automotive sellers have been considering using the Internet advantage in boosting their sales through automotive direct mail marketing.

Why use automotive direct mail? This is because direct mail is flexible. A businessman can reach a great number of people in a very convenient way. And, on top of that, this method is also practically costless because everything one needs is an Internet connection and a list of leads.

Many car dealers prefer using the automotive direct marketing because they believe that a one-on-one contact between the buyer and the seller is a good start to build a good relationship and strong trust for each other. But what does marketing really mean? Dictionary.com defines it simply as, “to offer for sale or to sell.” Having an effective marketing system is a great start to sell your products or services. You should know all the parts, for an example, of the car you are selling. You should know not even just the parts but all the information about the car or any automotive equipment that you are offering to your buyer or client. It may sound awkward, but you have to give them all the positive side of your product and service in order for you to convince your clients. Of course, all the information should be true and reliable. You cannot just create a story about the car or equipment.

In automotive marketing, you should think of a better headline for your ads, in order for the automotive buyers to at least find your ads interesting. You should also consider your price. It should really be competitive with the others. And last, you should have your proof about the equipment you are about to sell. With all these Internet-based business techniques, you could just be clicks away from a future empire.

Finding your website is only the first step that buyers can reach you through. In car dealership marketing, you will find different ways to show people what you have for sale, whether it’s used or brand new cars. Then you will slowly see your the automotive marketing services paying off with higher sales and, of course, profit.

Future Trends in Chinese Automotive Market

Talking about automotive in China is completely different from other countries, in most of the world you imagine automotive as a fierce market with no margins based only on volumes and sales strategy to keep the current volume and survive at least. In China automotive market is an emerging market with big growth ratio every year. Last year chinese passenger cars and commercial vehicles market grow about 40% and currently China is the biggest market for automotive worldwide. Predicting trends for the future is not easy but there’re some trends that surely will go on strongly in the near future:

1. Growth: the growth rate will be quite surely always double digit. It’s easy to understand why. Only 1 over 7 Chinese has a car, so the internal market is huge and moreover China is growing double digit as country so more and more Chinese will afford to buy a car, especially in the rural province where the rate is much less than in big cities like Shanghai and Beijing, where on the opposite the market will slow down also because cars needs first roads and infrastructure and big cities are becoming already overloaded in these years.

2. Consolidation: there’re still more than 100 car manufacturers in China and a lot of local small suppliers. Like in Europe and US it is expected a consolidation in the market. Probably automaker with volumes around 10.000-100.000 cars/year will disappear but it’s a slow moving consolidation, since Chinese internal market needs low prices for cars and so a lot of small automakers with only internal production of the whole car with a few technologies can give low prices, even though this means also low quality because the assembly lines of these automakers are still completely manual. Labour cost increase and general welfare will lead to an higher end demand and to the dissolving of most of these small automakers. As well as the same will happen for the small low quality suppliers.

3. EV: EV stands for electric vehicles. Since China has a lot of problems connected with pollution, EV is surely a trend that will grow. Remember that the biggest electric batteries suppliers worldwide are located in China and most of EV vehicles are being developed in China starting from these suppliers. Remember that the biggest electric batteries supplier, BYD is also a car manufacturer and someone like a certain Warren Buffet is a shareholder of the company.

4. Quality: the quality level of Chinese cars is becoming higher every year, especially foreign automakers wants really that the same standard of quality in Europe and US is applied also in China. Moreover the Chinese consumer is becoming every year more and more aware of quality standard and in the future will also be able to pay for that. As well as suppliers from all over the world and also local are trying hardly to have same technologies and quality as in Europe and US as a consequence of the customer requirement improvement.

5. Export: Surely there’s a big internal market, but the aim of most local automakers is to become a worldwide automaker. Geely is trying to do that through Volvo Cars, others are trying to start up facilities in other markets like Middle East or Africa or Eastern Europe. It’s a preparation for the arrival also in US and Europe, but first quality issue must be understood and digested by the local automakers. EU and US are always nearer also because of the flourishing of foreign suppliers in China, that are helping the market to become aware of technologies that before are not available.

6. Luxury Brand: the luxury EU and US car makers like Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce will flourish and China will become their first market. For some of them, it is already. It’s easier to find very rich people in a country with 1.4 billion inhabitants and that is growing double digit every year. Moreover Chinese see cars still as a status symbol.

The Bare Essentials of Automotive Marketing

When the horseless coach was introduced in 1885 by Karl Benz, there came the dawn of change in transport systems around the world and the start of the automotive industry. In succeeding, people accepted this ground-breaking concept and made the industry a growing one. It was because they found automobiles efficient for daily use and for long distance trips. Slowly, one company emerged after another because they saw opportunities to profit with more and more people buying cars. It was no longer a luxury but rather a necessity. Competition came so there arose a need for automotive marketing promotions for one company to compete against the others.

Competition sometimes can be tricky and this is why automotive marketing promotion strategies were developed and introduced. Today, it is noted that that there has been a great decrease in selling cars. This is why manufacturers do promotions in order to increase sales. Newspapers are a traditional way of promoting business. Nevertheless, car dealers continue to do marketing promotions through other ways such as in social networking sites. They find ways to get people’s attention with what they are offering and what services are available. Experimentation is also being done to come up with more original ideas.

When concentrating on individualized promotions, they sometimes send direct emails. What they do is personalize their notes instead of send generic ones. The content basically offers customers what they can afford. Another way to market an automotive business is by giving incentives to employees and customers. At this point, they start social networking and try to create a good reputation to the company through word of mouth.

Branding products is also an automobile marketing promotion strategy. Branding means making the company stand out from both direct and indirect competition. In the store, they can have a mascot that creates an impression that they welcome anyone who needs their products. Trade-in is also an effective technique aimed at bringing back old customers. Since car models become obsolete, then people would always consider buying a new one. Customers are attracted to trade-in schemes because they will be able to save money while owning a new car.

It is important for all automotive marketers to realize that they have to stay open to new strategies that they may use to increase their sales. After all, cars are no cheap items to sell. This means they have to be able to build rapport and trust with people who could be customers. Social networking is a very popular way of doing this and every automotive seller should be willing to explore this as a sales-boosting technique.

Looking for the most effective automotive marketing promotions or auto dealer advertising strategies? All it takes is to do a research and keep an open mind. Some things may have to be learned, such as social media networking, but things can be done and it is up to the automotive marketer’s determination to make his efforts pay off.

Methods To Accelerate Your Network Marketing Results

Network marketing uses representatives to reach potential customers that you might not be able to reach on your own. This article will give you tips on how to reach those customers and anything else you may need to know when it comes to network marketing.

Pay attention to the reasons that people don’t want to sign up. This will give you the information you need to be able to turn their objections around. Overcoming people’s hesitance is an art form and the more information you have the more likely you will succeed at it.

Many people have the mistaken notion that quantity trumps quality when it comes to network marketing. In reality, quality always wins. A successful network needs people who work hard to spread its connecting lines, thus bringing profit to all the network members.

Funding for your new network marketing career should not come from a loan. Network marketing is a risky field to go into as it’s not entirely based on how hard you work. The market has to be there to “sell” to so you can build your downline and make a profit. Losing your home isn’t worth it!

There’s a question of lawfulness associated with multi-level (network) marketing, so make sure you’re able to show the potential members of your network that everything you’re doing is in accordance with the law. Reassuring your potential customers will go a long way, even if they’re not necessarily thinking that it may be illegal.

Your ego can easily get in the way when network marketing, so make sure you check it at the door. Having the confidence that you can sell ice to Eskimos isn’t confidence at all; it’s hubris. This type of ego will crush your business dreams and keep you playing small-ball in the minor leagues.

One important thing that all network marketers must do is to learn the product so that you are able to get others excited about it. You should know everything there is to know and be willing to share this so that the product will sell with ease, and you will be able to answer any questions that come up.

When you set goals, make a series of small goals that lead up to the big ones. Setting small, realistic goals with manageable deadlines will help you focus on your success. Also, manageable deadlines will keep you from becoming discouraged when you hit an inevitable downturn; you still have plenty of time to meet your goal.

Stay far away from network marketing lingo! Your average lead will have no idea what you’re talking about if you start using big words and business terms. Talk to your lead like you would to a friend: be calm and jovial and use a vocabulary anyone could understand. Stick to the basics and build from there.

Now that you know exactly what network marketing is, you will be able to put the advice given throughout this article to good use. Every business wants to be able to reach a new set of clients and in turn, be able to raise their profits. Have fun making your business grow.
